For over 20 years, the SCHWING Group has been providing high-quality cleaning services at various locations around the world. Every year we clean over 250,000 parts for hundreds of customers.

Depending on specific requirements, various thermal cleaning systems are used to remove organic contaminants. The full range of equipment includes machines with chamber capacities up to 15 m3, cleaning components weighing up to 5,000 kg (e.g. film blowing heads) and up to 6 meters in length (e.g. nonwoven die heads and screws).

Thermal Cleaning Systems

VACU CLEAN

TIME: 8-26 HRS.

Gently removes organic contaminants from heat-resistant metal components by melting and thermal decomposition under vacuum conditions.

Advantages: gentle cleaning, requires only electricity and water, catalytic converter for exhaust gas purification.

Recommended for:

  • Spinning dies
  • Die heads
  • Blown film heads
  • Extruder screws

INNOVA CLEAN

TIME: 1-2 HRS.

Removes all organic contaminants (including halogenated polymers) via thermal decomposition in a fluidized bed.

Advantages: very short cycle times, suitable for all polymers (including PVC, PTFE, PEEK), highest flexibility.

Recommended for:

  • Spinning dies
  • Bale wrappers
  • Special profile dies
  • Hot runner systems

MAXI CLEAN

TIME: 4-8 HRS.

Gas-heated thermal cleaning system. Removes all organic contaminants from larger metal parts.

Advantages: ideal for large parts, effective for multiple polymers.

Recommended for:

  • Filter assemblies
  • Extruder screws
  • Large dies
  • Hot runner systems

COMPACT CLEAN

TIME: 3-5 HRS.

Small gas-heated system, easy to install.

Advantages: low investment cost, suitable for most polymers, ideal for laboratories.

Recommended for:

  • Non-return valves
  • Breaker plates
  • Hot runner systems
  • Needle valves
